Trong một đĩa CD khởi động được tích hợp khá nhiều công cụ và tiện ích phổ biến để làm việc trong môi trương DOS. Đây là một tiện ích để làm việc với ổ đĩa cứng, công cụ khôi phục và chuẩn đoán các hư hỏng trong máy tính, quản lý tập tin, các tiện ích cho mạng, cũng như nhiều công cụ khác. Hiren’s Boot CD loại bỏ những phiền phức khi tích hợp rất nhiều công cụ hệ thống trong 1 đĩa CD duy nhất.
Hiren’s Boot CD có danh sách phần mềm rất lớn. Các tiện ích có cùng tính năng trên CD được nhóm lại với nhau và có vẻ hơi thừa , thế nhưng , chúng thể hiện sự lựa chọn giữa các mặt khác nhau

Cách ghi đĩa :
Bước 1 : Giải nén 3 file KEYB.DAT, KEYB.SYS, PATCH.BAT ra desktop.
Bước 2 : Copy file Hiren’s.BootCD.12.0.iso ra desktop luôn.
Bước 3 : Chạy file patch.bat.
Bước 4 : chọn kiểu bàn phím là US, sau khi patch thì tạo ra file mới là XX Patched Hiren’s.BootCD.12.0.iso -> tiến hành ghi file này.
